Our rugs are made for us by one of the family businesses we have worked with for many years. It takes a long time to learn the craft of felt ball making; dying the wool, sizing each ball by pulling tufts of wool by hand and then rolling to create each perfectly shaped and sized ball. They are then hand sewn to create beautiful rugs.
The rugs created will grace any home adding colour, style and a focal point of interest.
They are incredibly strong and durable; a great investment for your home.
Made of pure new wool, naturally dirt-repellent, extremely hard-wearing and durable.
Douée has a strong sustainability philosophy, this traditional handicraft is being conserved using environmentally friendly processes, also the highest standards of fair trade are maintained with fair wages and working conditions for all.
